Craq Sports & Skills: Evaluation of the sports related skills profile in youth sports

What is Craq Sports & Skills?

A digital, mobile tool called ‘Craq Sports & Skills is being developed for eduQarte Sports, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sports and skills development among young people and children.

The solution provides a digital assessment tool for recording skills, sporting abilities and performance in youth sport, tracks the development of these abilities and generates reports. The concept is based on the principle of ‘individual support and needs-based development’ and on the ‘TIPS’ model.

Children's and youth football serves as a pilot project for development and implementation.

Who is Craq Sports & Skills for?

The Craq assessment tool offers local and regional football clubs, in both elite and grassroots sport, the opportunity to evaluate, map and support the individual skill and performance profiles of young athletes in an accessible and efficient manner. The young athletes themselves, their parents, and above all the trainers and coaches, as well as regional and national associations, use the tool for the systematic identification and development of talent.

Exchange and cooperation for best practices

Together with 1to1sports.com and tda sports, we organise exchange camps for young athletes to support their sporting development and promote international sporting and cultural exchange. The aim is to meet, learn together and from one another, and grow as a result. Teams of coaches also learn from the best trainers and from one another, for example in Spain, a country renowned for its success in football.

Data and empirical science related cooperation and projects

The use of skills evaluation tools generates a large volume of data, which is also made available in anonymised form for scientific analysis and research. This collaboration is aimed at furthering development in the areas of training, match analysis, talent identification and development. SkillsLabor provides organisational and coordination support thanks to its international network.
